The Easiest Energizing Smoothie For Adventurers
As Sisters of Nature, caring for our temple is number one on our priority list! Though we may slack and have off days, we always feel the repercussions and they are never nice.
So let's come together and agree to be our best self every day- starting with nutrition!
Now in our opinion the easiest way to get all of your greens for the day in is by blending them together and making a tasty smoothie!
Grab your favorite to-go cup and bring breakfast along on your adventures!
Goals when picking your ingredients
High fiber ingredients like Spinach and Flax Seeds are extremely beneficial to keep your system running smoothly
High in potassium and tryptophan, Bananas also help as a natural sweetener for your smoothie
Berries are nutrient-rich and packed full of antioxidants like Vitamin-C. They are also super helpful in keeping your skin flawless
And last but not least- just as the saying goes, "an apple a day keeps the doctor away!" We love adding an apple to our smoothies! They help prevent eye and heart disease as well as boost your immune system with the antioxidant called quercetin that they hold.
Here is our quick and easy recipe!
1 Apple cut into fourths
2 Tablespoons of Flax Seed
2 Handfuls of Mixed Nutrient-Rich Greens (kale, chard, and spinach)
1 cup Frozen Berries
A splash of Coconut Milk or Almond Milk
Blend together until all chunks are smooth!
And just like that you have your simple nutrient-rich smoothie, adventurers!
