DIY-Coconut Milk Eucalyptus Salt Scrub

Posted on

The recent chill in the air reminds us that all we actually want to do is lie around bundled in blankets and soak in warm bubble baths. I decided to try out a new recipe for an epsom salt bath soak/scrub to do just that & I really loved it!

Here is my magic recipe- I hope y'all enjoy it.

1/4 cup Epsom Salt

1/4 cup Dead Sea Salt

1/2 tbsp Dried Orange Peels and Eucalyptus Leaves

1 tbsp Coconut Milk Powder

2.5 tbsp Olive Oil

3-4 drops of Eucalyptus Essential Oil

Epsom Salt is hydrated magnesium sulfate. If you soak in it…there’s an automatic boost of magnesium that helps to regulate enzymes and organize bodily functions. It is easily absorbed through your skin.

Eucalyptus is anti-inflammatory, decongestant, deodorant, and antibacterial.

Oranges are a rich source of vitamin C which improves skin texture and color, it also helps in restoring collagen in your body which helps prevent premature aging.

Stir together all ingredients and add to warm running water for a soak.

Apply the scrub all over your body massaging in circular motions in the shower or bath. This is an exfoliant so as you are applying it to your skin, the granules will remove all of your dead skin cells leaving your skin refreshed and healthy.

*BONUS*

Scrubs and bath soaks make perfect gifts!

We hope you make this recipe and enjoy every second of it!

XO,

Emily
